The thoughts that go through my head too often.

Except you’re not just like everyone else. You actually care about me. You give your all in this relationship. But I’m very annoying, easy to hate, easy to ignore, easy to leave. I just don’t want you to get sick of me once and for all and leave me.

I can’t believe it’s taken me 3 years to get to the point where I’m not constantly afraid of you leaving me, though. I’m doing better. I’m healing from the way others treated me, and you’re the salve that heals. You’ve proven to me that there is a “one” for everyone, and you’re my “one”. If you weren’t, I wouldn’t go insane when I’m without you. If you weren’t, you wouldn’t have stayed with me for this long. You would have left me a long time ago if we weren’t meant to be together.

I love you. Thank you so much for staying by my side in spite of how irrational, insane, annoying, and mean I get. Thank you so much for understanding that innocent and sensitive person deep inside of me that never wants to hurt a single person. Thank you so much for seeing past “Dorian” and seeing past “Isel” and seeing me, and loving me in spite of all of the awful things that come with those entities that have enslaved my mind.
