If I’m going to end up dying because of this, I need to take you with me.
But if I kill you before I kill myself, then you’ll have no way of knowing that I ended my life as well… you’d die thinking that I was killing you out of pure rage and nothing else.
Really, I would be killing you to do you a favor, so that you wouldn’t have to live your life with my suicide weighing on your conscience.
Of course, this is all operating on the assumption that you still care about me. That you would still give a shit if I died. There’s no way I can find out… so I have to go into this as if knowing your feelings about it didn’t matter.
